Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Anashim+ ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

The App is designed for local use on your device. Depending on the features you use, the App may process:

  • Personal Information: Names, contact details, addresses, dates, notes, entity details (such as vehicles, apartments, pets, subscriptions, lists, and items), records, reminders, and other information you enter.
  • Device Contacts: If you choose to import contacts, contact information you select from your device address book.
  • Shared Content: Text, images, files, or other content you send to the App through the system share sheet or Share Extension.
  • Files and Media: Photos, documents, PDFs, and other files you capture, pick, edit, or attach.
  • Location: When a feature requests it, approximate or precise device location while the App is in use (for example, related photo or file features). You may also enter location text manually in records; that is data you provide, not GPS.
  • Biometric Unlock: If enabled, Face ID, Touch ID, or equivalent is used only on your device to unlock the App. Biometric templates are not sent to Anashim+ servers.
  • Notifications and Background Activity: Local notification and background refresh data needed to schedule reminders and keep certain App features up to date on your device.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you use the App that is stored locally on your device.
  • Crash and Diagnostic Data: Technical diagnostics sent to our crash-reporting provider when the App encounters errors (see Third-Party Services).

Data Storage

Your App data is stored locally on your device using SQLite. We do not upload your personal App data (contacts, records, attachments, and similar content) to Anashim+ servers.

  • Local storage: Your data remains on your device unless you export or back it up yourself.
  • Backups: You may create backup files on your device or in storage locations you choose (for example, iCloud Drive or Files). Those locations are controlled by you and the platform provider, not by Anashim+. Backup files can optionally be password-encrypted.

On-Device AI and OCR

The App may use on-device text recognition (OCR) and on-device AI (including local language-model inference) to help extract text, classify content, or suggest information.

  • These features are designed to run on your device when available.
  • Outputs may be incomplete, incorrect, or misleading. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI- or OCR-generated results before relying on them or saving them as App data.
  • Do not treat AI or OCR output as legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.

Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services that may process information as needed to provide features:

  • Sentry: Crash reporting and performance diagnostics. When the App encounters an error or samples a performance trace, Sentry may receive technical diagnostics such as device type, OS version, App version, stack traces, and related diagnostic metadata. We configure Sentry not to send default personally identifying information (such as IP address) with events. See Sentry's privacy policy.
  • Google ML Kit: On-device text recognition (OCR) when available.
  • Tesseract OCR: On-device text recognition when available.
  • Google Fonts: The App may download font files from Google to display typography. See Google's privacy policy.
  • Syncfusion: PDF viewing and processing on your device.
  • Apple / Google platform services: System features such as photo library, camera, contacts, Face ID / biometrics, notifications, background tasks, share extensions, and on-device AI frameworks where available, subject to the platform provider's terms and your device settings.

We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these third-party services. If the App later displays advertisements, advertising partners may process device or usage information as described in an updated policy and in the advertiser's policy.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Provide and maintain the App's functionality on your device.
  • Process, display, organize, remind, back up, and restore your data locally.
  • Support import, share-target, OCR, on-device AI assist, and related features you choose to use.
  • Diagnose and fix crashes and stability issues (via crash reporting).
  • Improve the App's features and user experience.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

  • Local App data is protected using platform security features; you may also protect access with a local password and optional biometric unlock.
  • Backup files can optionally be encrypted with a password; otherwise backups are stored as standard ZIP files.

No method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: You can access your data stored in the App at any time.
  • Deletion: You can delete data within the App or remove local data by uninstalling the App.
  • Export: You can export your data using the backup feature.
  • Correction: You can update or correct your information in the App at any time.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
